Signature Turkey Bistro Burger
- 3 cups flour
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1-1/2 cups shallots, peeled, thinly sliced
- ground turkey
- 24 slices cheddar cheese slices (1 oz. each)
- 2 doz. Brioche hamburger buns, split, toasted
- 3 cups GREY POUPON Bistro Sauce
- 48 slices applewood-smoked bacon, cooked Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- Mix flour, salt and pepper in medium bowl.
- Add shallots; toss to coat.
- Gently shake off excess flour.
- Cook in 350 degrees F deep-fat fryer 1 to 2 min.
- or until crisp and lightly browned; drain.
- Season with additional salt and pepper; keep warm.
- For each serving: Shape 5-oz.
- turkey into 1/2-inch-thick patty; season with additional salt and pepper.
- Grill on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or until done (165 degrees F).
- Top with 1 cheese slice.
- Grill 30 sec.
- or until cheese begins to melt.
- Spread cut surfaces of 1 bun with 2 Tbsp.
- bistro sauce; fill with burger, 2 bacon slices and 1/2 oz.
