Cumin Steak with Rajas
- 1 large (about 8 ounces) 1 1/4-inch-thick New York steak
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Rajas
- Preheat broiler.
- Season steak generously with salt and pepper.
- Rub both sides of steak with cumin and cayenne pepper.
- Broil to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Transfer to platter and serve with Rajas.
