Banana Cream Bread With Chocolate Recipe
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1 pkt (3-ounce) cream cheese
- 1 c. Packed brown sugar
- 2 med Bananas, mashed
- 1 x Egg
- 1/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 3/4 c. Mini chocolate chips
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- In response to request for Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, here is a recipe for a very good Banana Bread which could be made into muffins:
- Blend together butter, cream cheese, sugar in mixer till creamy.
- Add in and blend in bananas, egg and lowfat sour cream.
- Stir flour with chocolate chips, baking soda, baking pwdr and salt.
- Add in to butter mix and stir together just till mixed.
- Pour into buttered 5x9 loaf pan.
- Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 to 1-1/4 hours.
- or possibly till edges pull from pan sides.
- Run a knife around edge and turn bread onto a rack.
- Let cold.
