Raisin Date Pecan Coffee Cake

• 1 cup flour
• 2/3 cup granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup instant coffee, brewed and strong
• 1/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 cup raisins dates and pecans cereal

1. PREHEAT oven to 375u0b0F Stir together 1 cup flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in 3 tablespoons butter to form crumbly mixture.
2. COMBINE egg and coffee; add to flour mixture, mixing just until blended. Pour into greased 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan.
3. MIX brown sugar and 3 tablespoons flour. Cut in 3 tablespoons butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in cereal. Sprinkle topping over cake batter. Bake 30 to 35 minute or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Serve warm.
