Two for one
- 2 lb beef or any meat
- 15 oz can of peas
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 29 oz can of vegetable meadly or your favorite vegetables
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 cup seasoned panko breadcrumbs
- 2 nine inch pie crust
- Preheat oven 425 Fahrenheit
- Add your meat and onions vinegar sugar salt pepper garlic in a saucepan with the oil let simmer 7 minutes covered
- A lot of liquid will form after the sugar and salt is added
- Take the cornstarch and water mix well use only half of this mixture add to base it will thicken quickly stir constantly add peas liquid from can and all stir in well turn off heat cover
- Take the vegetables put into a pot with the liquid from can add salt and garlic
- Let cook till boiling good add rest of cornstarch solution let thicken stir good but not mashing vegetables
- To a casserole dish add nonstick spray add first pie crust get all air behind the crust
- Add half the filling base and cover the top with pie crust flaps
- In another casserole dish add the second pie crust add a layer of filling base cover with some of the breadcrumbs
- Add thickened vegetables breadcrumbs on top add filling base then breadcrumbs
- Bake 25 -30 minutes let sit 15 minutes hope you enjoy
- Take the filling base only turn upside down onto a plate
- I would cut the meat into bite sized pieces next time
