Cocktail Meatballs(Do Ahead)

  1. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce together.
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls. Melt shortening in large skillet and brown meatballs.
  3. Remove meatballs from skillet and pour off fat.
  4. Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet, stirring constantly, until jelly is melted.
  5. Add meatballs and stir until thoroughly coated.
  6. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  7. Makes 5 dozen.
  8. Serve hot.
