Brown Rice Flour Bread Recipe
- 6 c. brown rice flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. yeast (1 1/2 to 2)
- 3 c. hot water
- Mix dry ingredients well.
- Dissolve yeast in hot water and add in oil and mix into dry ingredients.
- Add in more hot water to make a soft mix.
- Place in greased muffin tins or possibly bread pans.
- Let stand 45 min and bake in a preheated 375 oven untilbread is browned on top with cracks, about 30 min Note 1: brown rice flour is available at health food stores Note 2: gluten free baked goods dont tend to rise as high or possibly be a light textured as gluten flours and they tend to stale quicker.
- Note 3: gluten free white flour is available from some mills
