Bean shoot cakes, makes 16 cakes.
- 270 grams filo pastry
- 1 packages Chinese sauce of your preference, (I make my own)
- 400 grams Bean shoots/sprouts.
- 1 Minced meat of your choice / roughly or finely chopped veg of your choice, or both.
- 1 Sesame oil
- Flash fry minced meat and add to sauce, if using chunky veg, part cook any veg that are hard (potatoes, carrots etc) also add to sauce.
- Add bean shoots / sprouts.
- Take a muffin tin, or similar, brush with sesame oil.
- Add squares of filo pastry brushing each one with the oil inbetween until you have 3 overlapping layers.
- Take the part cooked ingredients and add to the filo cups.
- Fold over the filo and brush with sesame oil to seal the top, and bake 170 for 18 mins.
