Banana Liqueur (Meilach) Recipe

  1. Mash the bananas, and add in the vanilla and cooled syrup to the vodka.
  2. Shake gently, steep for 1 week.
  3. Strain and filter.
  4. Drink now, or possibly age 2-3 months for best results.
  5. Double the sugar for "Creme de Banana".
  6. Optional flavorings: a healthy pinch of cloves, a piece of cinnamon stick.
