Microwave Chocolate Cake Pudding
- 110 g self raising flour
- 110 g caster sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 30 g cocoa
- 55 g margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 110 g brown sugar
- 30 g cocoa
- 150 ml water
- To make the cake, mix together the flour, caster sugar, salt and 30g cocoa.
- Add melted margarine, egg, milk and vanilla to above mix.
- Stir well to combine and place in a medium sized microwavable bowl - the sides should be about 5cm high as cake will rise.
- Make the sauce by mixing the brown sugar with the remaining cocoa.
- Sprinkle on top of the batter.
- Warm water for 30 secs and tip on top of cake gently.
- Use a fork to gently prick a few holes in batter to allow some water to seep into it.
- Cook on high in microwave (800 watt) for 5 minutes.
- Serve with ice-cream or custard.
