Turkey Calzone
- 1 pkg. Butterball Fresh Ground Turkey
- 1 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 3/4 cup low-fat ricotta cheese
- 1-1/4 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
- 2 pkg. (12 oz. each) refrigerated lg. biscuits
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Cook ground turkey in crumbles according to package directions.
- Remove from heat.
- Drain any remaining juices.
- Stir in pizza sauce, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese.
- Place biscuits on lightly floured surface.
- Flatten each into a large circle.
- Lightly moisten edges with water.
- Fold circles in half to cover turkey mixture.
- Gently press to seal and enclose filling.
- Place filled calzones on baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake 10-12 minutes and until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and additional pizza sauce, if desired.
