Short Ribs Recipe

  1. Dust the ribs with flour, brown in shortening in a large heavy pan.
  2. Pour off excess drippings.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over ribs.
  4. Cover.
  5. Cook over low heat about 3 1/2 hrs, or possibly till the ribs are tender; turn the ribs and baste with the sauce occasionally.
