Healthy Taco Rice
- 200 grams Ground beef
- 1 large, chopped Onion
- 1/2 diced and blanched Cooked bamboo shoot in water
- 1 can. smush the tomatoes up will with your little hands. Canned tomatoes
- 1 Garlic
- 1 Whatever herbs and spices you have on hand
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 dash Sake or wine
- 1 dash bit of each Ketchup, Japanese style Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper
- 1 as much (to taste), chop finely Tomatoes
- 1 as much (to taste), chop finely and put in a bowl of water Onion
- 1 swirl Olive oil
- 1 dash of each Lemon juice and parsley (optional)
- 1 dash of each Salt and pepper
- 1 Tabasco sauce
- 1 as much (to taste). roughly julienne. Lettuce, celery
- 1 as much (to taste) Pizza cheese or cheese
- Let's make the meat sauce.
- Stir fry the ground beef without oil.
- Drain off any rendered fat.
- Season with salt and coarsely ground black pepper, add the onion, bamboo shoot and a little sake, and stir fry.
- Add whatever herbs and spices you have on hand, and as much as you like.
- You can add red chili powder, oregano, paprika, nutmeg, black pepper, but the chili powder is a must.
- Add a can of crushed tomatoes (juice and all) and one bay leaf.
- Flavor with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Adjust the quantity to your preference as you taste.
- Even if you don't measure the ingredients, just taste as it cooks.
- When there's no liquid left in the pan, it's done.
- Prepare the salsa.
- Combine the salsa ingredients, adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, and it's done.
- Add Tabasco to taste.
- Serve rice in a bowl, top with lots of vegetables, salsa, a generous portion of the meat sauce, cheese, and parsley.
- Finished!!
- Add more Tabasco to taste.
