Cheapo Cioppino

  1. Saute onions in oil until almost translucent.
  2. Add celery and carrots and a little bit of the wine and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes including juice, water, and wine, and seasonings and simmer covered for 45 minutes.
  4. Add potatoes and cook until tender.
  5. Add cut up cod and simmer until falls apart.
  6. Add more salt if desired, it's up to you.
  7. Serve with favorite croutons or toasted bread.
  8. Enjoy!
