Sauteed Apples
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 12 lbs firm crisp apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 8 pieces (Golden Delicious is recommended)
- 12 cup white sugar or 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Add butter to a large, deep skillet; set heat at medium.
- When the butter melts, add in the apples; turn the heat to low, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add in the sugar and cinnamon; increase heat to medium; cook, stirring often, until the apples are tender and glazed, another 10 minutes or so.
- Serve hot or warm.
