Meat Balls In Ginger Snap Sauce Recipe

  1. Mix together beef, egg, 3 Tbsp.
  2. brown sugar, 2 Tbsp.
  3. vinegar, grated onion, soaked roll, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Shape into small balls.
  5. Saute/fry diced onion and garlic in small amount of shortening.
  6. Add in meatballs and brown, turning frequently.
  7. Mix together tomato sauce, water, 1/2 c. brown sugar, scant 1/2 c. vinegar and catsup.
  8. Add in meatballs and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs.
  9. Add in ginger snaps, cook for 30 min more.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
