Kim's Cherry Chocolate Chip Bars
- 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 34 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 13 cup sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (21 ounce) canof lucky leaf cherry pie filling
- Preheat oven to 350F Lightly grease an 8x8x2-inch baking pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, break the cookie dough into chunks.
- Knead in the oats.
- Press two-thirds of the mixture into the pan.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is set.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Stir in egg and vanilla.
- Carefully spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Top with LUCKY LEAF Cherry Pie Filling.
- Dot with the remaining cookie dough.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
- Cool completely, cover, and chill for 2 hours before serving.
