Borscht

  1. Bring 5 litres of water to a boil in pot.
  2. Put in chicken, salt, bay leaves, onion, garlic cloves, beets, beans and one tbsp parsley.
  3. Boil approximately 20 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Add carrots, celery, potatoes, cabbage, can of tomatoes, tomato paste and another tbsp parsley.
  5. Boil another 20 minutes.
  6. Add last tbsp parsley, vinear and sugar.
  7. Boil another 5 minutes over very low heat.
