Shrimp Scampi
- 1 (16 ounce) packet linguine
- 4 ounces butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb large shrimp, cleaned and deveined
- 14 cup white wine
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 18 cup fresh parsley, chopped fine
- salt and pepper, to taste
- lemon wedge, to serve
- First, prepare pasta according to the packet instructions.
- In a large skillet heat the butter and then add the garlic and saute on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add shrimp and wine, cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Next add the remaining ingredients and cook a further 2 minutes.
- Serve over the hot cooked pasta with the lemon wedges.
