Hearty Lentil Kiebasa Soup Recipe
- 3 1/2 quart. water
- 1 bag lentils, rinsed
- 3 or possibly 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 stalks celery, minced
- 2 onions, minced
- 3/4 pound Kielbasa, sliced thin
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. spinach, minced
- 1 tbsp. garlic pwdr
- 2 teaspoon thyme
- Salt & pepper to taste (will taste bland without)
- Put all the ingredients in an 8 qt pot and simmer for 2 to 3 hrs.
- NOTE: Soup becomes thicker if refrigerated overnight, so make it a day ahead.
