Mary Ellen Roberts Pecan Tassies Recipe

  1. SHELLS: Combine flour, butter and cream cheese.
  2. Stir till blended.
  3. Shape dough into 24 balls, then chill them while preparing the filling.
  4. Combine first six ingredients, mix till blended.
  5. Place each dough ball into a greased 1 3/4 inch opening of a tart pan, shaping each ball into a shell.
  6. Spoon mix into tart shell only 3/4 full.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min, or possibly till brown.
  8. Cold completely before removing from tart pans.
  9. Yield: 24 tassies.
