Pork Stir Fry With Linguini Recipe
- 1 pound boneless pork
- 4 ounce. linguini
- 1 tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 6 ounce. fresh or possibly frzn peas
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon dry basil
- Dash of grnd nutmeg
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 ounce. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- Partially freeze the pork.
- Thinly slice pork into bite size pcs.
- Cook linguini in boiling salted water for 8 to 10 min, till tender.
- Preheat wok; add in veg.
- oil.
- Stir fry garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add in pea pods.
- Stir-fry 2 min.
- Remove pea pods and garlic.
- Add in more oil if necessary.
- Add in pork to wok.
- Stir-fry 3 to 4 min.
- Remove from wok.
- In the wok, heat lowfat milk, basil and nutmeg.
- Add in the cheese; cook and stir just till the cheese melts.
- Stir pea pods, pork and mushrooms into the cheese mix.
- Heat through.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in linguini; toss to heat through.
