Vegie Beef Stir-Fry
- 1 kg sirloin steak, sliced into strips
- 1 red capsicum, sliced into strips
- 1 green capsicum, sliced into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup carrot, julienned
- 1 (225 g) can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 (225 g) can bamboo shoots
- 1 (425 g) can baby corn
- 12 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
- Brown steak strips in a frying pan, set aside when browned.
- Stir-fry the onion and carrot and cauliflower for about 5 minutes.
- Add the brocolli and capsicums, stir-fry for a couple of minutes and add all of the canned ingredients.
- Stir-fry for a few more minutes and re-add the steak, add the sauce/honey/garlic and stir until well combined.
- Put the lid on the frying pan, and let simmer.
- After 10minutes, turn off the frying pan, give it a good stir, and let sit for an extra 15minutes to cool and to seep in a bit more flavour.
- Serve over rice.
