Sausage, Egg and Cheese-Stuffed Baguette
- 1 baguette (350 g)
- 1-1/2 cups NatureggTM Simply EggsTM, well shaken
- 3/4 cup chopped cooked Italian sausage
- 4 Kraft Singles Mozzarella Cheese Slices, cut diagonally in half
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut 1/4-inch-thick horizontal slice off top of baguette; set aside.
- Hollow out bottom half of baguette, leaving 1/2-inch-thick shell.
- Cut enough of the reserved baguette top into 3/4-inch cubes to measure 1/2 cup.
- Reserve remaining bread top and removed bread for another use.
- Whisk eggs in medium bowl until blended.
- Add bread cubes; stir until evenly coated.
- Place hollowed-out bread on parchment-covered baking sheet; fill with sausage, then egg mixture.
- Bake 35 min.
- or until egg mixture is set, topping with Kraft Singles pieces for the last 5 min.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
