Mini Brie Bites
- 6 ounces, weight Brie
- 1 package 15 Mini Fillo (phyllo) Shells
- 1 jar Favorite Preserves*
- 1.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2.
- Remove casing from brie.
- (For easier removal of casing, put brie in the freezer for a few minutes.
- This will also make it easier to cut the brie up in cubes.)
- 3.
- Cut brie into 1/2 cubes.
- 4.
- Place mini shells on a baking sheet.
- 5.
- Put one 1/2 cube of brie in each mini shell.
- 6.
- Top each brie-filled mini shell with a little of the preserve (almost 1/2 teaspoon).
- 7.
- Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 7 minutes or until brie has melted.
- Be careful to keep an eye on it so shells dont burn.
- (I used apricot preserves, which is yummy with brie, but you could easily use your favorite jam or preserves OR maybe try apple butter or cranberry sauce.)
