Beef Stew

  1. Add paprika, pepper, and 4 tbsp of flour into a large bowl, adding in the beef to coat completely
  2. Oil a Dutch oven over medium heat, slightly browning the beef
  3. Once the beef is slightly browned, add in the water (bringing it to a boil), bouillon, tomato paste, 1 1/2 tsp basil, 3/4 tsp thyme, 3/4 tsp garlic powder, and bay leaves
  4. Lower the heat to a simmer, and cover for 1 1/2 hour
  5. Uncover the Dutch oven, ads in the carrots, potatoes, and onions, and then simmer covered for an additional 30 minutes
  6. Combine the flour, water, remaining basil, thyme, garlic powder, parsley, and salt in a bowl, and then add it in the Dutch oven
  7. Bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
  8. Serve and enjoy :)
