Russian Bon Bons Recipe
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 c. finely minced pecans
- Preheat oven.
- In large bowl cream butter, add in sugar and cream well.
- Sift flour once before measuring then again with salt.
- Add in to creamed mix, mix well.
- Blend in vanilla and nuts.
- Form into 1 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 min.
- (Watch cookies carefully after they have been in oven for awhile as they brown all of a sudden.)
- Roll in additional powdered sugar while still hot and again when cold.
- Store in container with loose cover.
- Approximately 5 dozen.
