Grilled Cuban Steak

  1. Whisk garlic and 2 Tbsp.
  2. each cilantro, dressing and lime juice until blended.
  3. Pour half over steak in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat both sides of steak.
  4. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.
  5. Refrigerate remaining dressing mixture until ready to use.
  6. Microwave potatoes in microwaveable dish on HIGH 3 to 5 min.
  7. or until slightly softened.
  8. Cool slightly.
  9. Quarter potatoes lengthwise; place on centre of large sheet of heavy-duty foil sprayed with cooking spray.
  10. Drizzle with water and remaining 2 Tbsp.
  11. Italian dressing; fold to make packet.
  12. Heat barbecue to medium heat.
  13. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
  14. Grill steak and foil packet 15 min.
  15. or until steak is cooked to medium doneness, turning steak and packet after 8 min.
  16. Remove steak from barbecue.
  17. Continue to grill packet 2 min.
  18. or until potatoes are tender.
  19. Cut slits in foil to release steam before opening packet.
  20. Top potatoes with cheese.
  21. Toss tomatoes, avocados and onions with remaining lime juice.
  22. Cut steak across the grain into thin slices; place on platter.
  23. Whisk remaining dressing mixture and cilantro until blended; drizzle over meat.
  24. Serve with salad and potatoes.
