South Of The Border Dip Recipe
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 pound Mexican Velveeta cheese spread, cubed
- 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes, minced & liquid removed
- (Microwave) Microwave onion and butter in 1 1/2 qt casserole or possibly bowl on 2 min or possibly till onion is tender.
- Add in process cheese spread and tomatoes; mix well.
- Microwave on medium (50%) 9 min or possibly till thoroughly heated, stirring every 3 min.
- Saute/fry onions in butter.
- Add in process cheese spread and tomatoes; stir till process cheese spread is melted.
- Simmer 10 min.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
- Makes 3 c..
