Mussels Marinara

  1. Scrape mussels clean and mince the onion and garlic.
  2. In a tall pot saute the spices in olive oil until they are translucent (don\t burn the garlic).
  3. Add the wine and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the mussels, cover pot and cook till mussels are fully opened (discard unopened mussels).
  5. In a separate pot bring the marinara sauce to a boil, then pour it over the mussels.
  6. Turn heat off and serve over linguini or with garlic bread.
