Baked Meaty Rotini

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium heat, brown meat until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  4. Season meat with basil, oregano, ground black pepper, salt, sofrito, ketchup, sugar and cooking wine.
  5. Stir in Spaghetti Sauce; simmer 10 minutes.
  6. Toss hot pasta with meat sauce.
  7. In 13x9x2-inch baking dish, spoon one-half pasta mixture; spread mozzarella cheese over top.
  8. Layer with remaining pasta; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover loosely with foil; bake 25 minutes.
  10. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  11. Serve and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese if desired.
