Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese
- 6 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 apple, cored and sliced thin
- 5 strips OSCAR MAYER Thick Cut Bacon
- 4 slices KRAFT Big Slice Colby Jack Cheese Slice
- Fry the bacon.
- Drain on paper towels and cut each strip into thirds.
- Lightly, butter both sides of each slice of bread.
- Over low heat, grill all six slices of bread until toasted golden brown on one side.
- Turn the bread over and on each of three of the slices, layer one and a third slice of cheese, 4 apple slices and 5 of the bacon pieces.
- Place the remaining three slices of bread, warm side down on top of the sandwich filling to begin melting the cheese.
- Cover the grill for 30 60 seconds to continue melting cheese and browning the bread.
- Flip all three sandwiches and brown the other side.
- Remove from the grill and serve with fresh fruit and your favorite beverage, for a quick and easy lunch.
