Asian Sloppy Joe Sliders

  1. Heat oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions, celery, Sriracha, garlic, ginger and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook until vegetables are soft, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add ground beef and break into small pieces; cook until browned, about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Add hoisin sauce, diced tomatoes and lime juice; stir to combine.
  6. Bring mixture to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Spoon 1/4-cupfuls of the meat mixture onto prepared dinner rolls.
  10. Top with a small handful of cabbage slaw and a couple bread and butter pickles, if desired.
  11. Serve immediately.
