Spinach Pie
- 1 cup spinach
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 3 slice bacon/turkey bacon
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 8 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp water
- Combine flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
- Mix in butter as well as you can with the flour
- Add water.
- Mix until until it becomes like dough, you might need to add a little more water to make it more smooth or add more flour if it is too runny.
- Roll into ball and roll out with a pin.
- Line a round glass baking dish with the crust.
- Preheat the oven to 375F
- In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper
- Crumble cooked bacon into egg mixture.
- Line the bottom of the pie crust with a layer of shredded cheese.
- Add some of the spinach on top of the cheese.
- Continue with cheese/spinach layer until you are done (Leave some cheese for the top!)
- Pour egg mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle remainder of cheese and pop in the oven!
- Bake for 45 minutes or until fork slides out with no residue.
- Enjoy it!
