Bacon Pizza
- 4 slices Your Favorite Bacon, Sliced And Par Cooked
- 1 pound Pizza Dough, Shaped Into A 12 Or 14-inch Round
- 1/2 Tablespoons Light Corn Meal, Optional
- 3 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Thats it.
- Pretty easy.
- Its a bacon pizza.
- I use a KettlePizza, but if you are not using this, heat your oven to the highest temperature with a pizza stone in there for preheating.
- Meanwhile, prepare the pizza.
- Heat a skillet on medium heat, and add the bacon.
- You are not going to fully cook the bacon, only about halfway, as the rest will cook with the pizza.
- Once partially cooked, remove, and strain any fat on a paper-lined plate.
- Once dough is formed, lightly dust a pizza paddle with the light corn meal so that it will slide off easily.
- Add the shaped pizza dough.
- Top with cheese.
- Yes, I did not use sauce on this one, only cheese and bacon.
- Top with bacon, then cook in your oven until cheese is melted, bacon is slightly crisp, and dough is golden.
- Dig in.
