Overnight Salad

  1. Break lettuce into bite-size pieces.
  2. Cover bottom of shallow glass pan.
  3. In layers, sprinkle over lettuce: celery, onion, peppers and cucumber.
  4. Combine sour cream, lemon juice, mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar.
  5. Pour mixture over salad, but
  6. do not toss.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
  9. Before serving, crumble bacon over top and decorate with tomato wedges.
