Chicken 'N Green Bean Casserole Recipe
- 4 1/2 c. cooked rice (1 1/2 c. uncooked)
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken, about 8 ounce.
- 2 (1 pound each) cans cut green beans, liquid removed
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/8 teaspoon grnd black pepper
- 1 (2.8 ounce.) can Durkee French friend onions
- Combine cooked rice and parsley in 8 x 12 inch baking dish.
- With spoon, press rice up sides and over bottom to create crust.
- Combine chicken, beans, lowfat milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can French fried onions; spoon into rice crust.
- Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 35-40 min.
- Top with remaining onions and bake uncovered 5 min longer.
- 6 servings.
