Sidesaddle Pork 'n' Beans
- 12 lb bulk pork sausage
- 13 cup chopped onion
- 15 34 ounces pork and beans
- 14 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 18 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 18 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 18 teaspoon dried thyme
- 18 teaspoon cajun seasoning
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
- Stir in the beans, barbecue sauce, honey, ketchup and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-8 minutes or until slightly thickened.
