Butter Gooey Cake
- 1 cup melted butter
- 18 ounces cake mix (I use either Duncan Hines Lemon or vanilla)
- 2 eggs
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring (optional)
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 eggs
- 12 cup toasted almond (or nuts of choice)
- Pre heat oven to 350. and butter a 9x13 pans ( I use glass).
- In large bowl, beat 2 eggs, melted butter and cake mix.
- Press this dough in pan.
- In same bowl (no need to wash) Beat 2 eggs, cream cheese, flavouring and Icing sugar.
- Pour this mixture on top of dough.
- Sprinkle on almonds.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes.
- Cool, cut and enjoy.
