Launee'S Lasagne
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. ground round
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 c. tomato juice or puree
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 c. meat stock or bouillon
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 large bay leaf
- salt to taste
- 1 c. Jack cheese, diced
- 1/2 c. Parmesan
- 1 c. cottage cheese or 1 c. Mozzarella
- Saute meat, onion and garlic in oil.
- Add all other ingredients except cheese and let simmer until sauce is quite thick.
- Cook one (10 ounce) package lasagne noodles according to directions; drain. Mix cheeses together and layer noodles, meat sauce and cheeses in oblong baking dish.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting it in squares to serve.
