Malbec Pot Roast
- 1 can Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup (10 Oz. Can)
- 4 ounces, fluid Conquista Malbec (red Wine)
- 8 pounds Sliced Baby Portabello Mushrooms
- 2 pounds Sirloin Tip Roast
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- Combine soup and wine in a crock pot.
- Whisk to combine.
- Add mushrooms.
- Place roast on top of mushrooms.
- Sprinkle with garlic salt and Lawrys seasoned salt.
- Cook on Low for 8 hours or until fork tender.
- Serving suggestion: Toast French bread slices with butter, kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper until golden brown.
- Layer sliced roast and mushrooms over bread slices.
- Top with gravy.
- Wine note: Conquista Malbec is an easy-to-find Argentenian wine.
