Malbec Pot Roast

  1. Combine soup and wine in a crock pot.
  2. Whisk to combine.
  3. Add mushrooms.
  4. Place roast on top of mushrooms.
  5. Sprinkle with garlic salt and Lawrys seasoned salt.
  6. Cook on Low for 8 hours or until fork tender.
  7. Serving suggestion: Toast French bread slices with butter, kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper until golden brown.
  8. Layer sliced roast and mushrooms over bread slices.
  9. Top with gravy.
  10. Wine note: Conquista Malbec is an easy-to-find Argentenian wine.
  11. Available in most grocery, specialty and wine stores.
