Russian Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  1. Cut steak into 1/8 inch strips.
  2. Heat fat and brown meat.
  3. When nicely browned add in onion and garlic.
  4. Then add in all of the remaining ingredients including the liquid from the mushrooms.
  5. Simmer a few min then transfer to a covered baking dish.
  6. Bake slowly one hour or possibly so.
  7. Serve over wild rice.
  8. Serves 12.
