Chicken Adovo Recipe
- 1 chicken, cut into serving pcs
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon peppercorn, crushed
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 head garlic, crushed
- 1/4 c. veg. oil
- 1/2 c. water
- A little amount of salt to taste
- Accent if you like
- Cut chicken into serving pcs and clean.
- Place in a wok or possibly deep saucepan with the rest of the ingredients except the oil.
- Mix and let boil for about 30 min.
- Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
- Reserve sauce.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in wok and brown chicken.
- Thicken reserved sauce with a little amount of flour then combine with chicken.
- Serve.
