Marinated Mushrooms

  1. Cut the stems off of the mushrooms.
  2. Divide the mushrooms into bite-size pieces (shred your hands or cut).
  3. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  4. Add Step 1 and quickly blanch.
  5. Drain.
  6. When mushrooms from (2) cool off, transfer to a container.
  7. Add the vegetable oil, salt and pepper and mix to make the marinade.
  8. Store in the refrigerator.
