Calamari With Hot Bean Sauce Recipe
- 900 gm Calamari (squid)
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 x Clove garlic,chopped
- 1 tsp Chopped ginger
- 1/2 c. Each green and red pepper, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. Warm bean paste
- 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Rice wine
- 1 x Green onion,minced Salt to taste

- Cleaning calamari.Cut poen body of calamari,clean.Cut off tentacles and reserve.Remove purple membrane,rinse body and tentacles,drain well.

- Score the calamari.Cut calamari into 2"(5 cm) pcs.
- 3.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil,drop in calamari, stir and remove.Drain throughly and set aside.
- 4.
- Heat wok, add in oil and stir fry garlic and ginger.Add in peppers and remaining ingredients.Return calamari to wok and combine.
- Be careful not to overcook calamari.
- Makes 4-6 servings.
