Candy Apple Pie
- 1 12 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 13 cup melted butter
- 34 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 5 granny smith apples, peeled cored,sliced thin
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 14 cup sugar
- 34 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 12 cup caramel topping
- 14 cup chopped pecans
- CRUST:Mix first 4 ingredients and press into a 10 inch pie pan up sides also.
- Bake 375 for 6-8 minutes or golden.
- Remove and cool.
- Pour caramel in bottom of crust and sprinkle with pecans,chill.
- FILLING:In a large skillet melt butter add brown sugar,salt,cinnamon add apples cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender cool 10 minutes pour into pie shel.
- TOPPING:With a mixer beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth add egg,lemon juice,and vanilla pour over apple filling.
- Bake 30 minutes until knife comes out clean.
- let cool and chill 4 hours then room temp.
- 30 minutes.
- TOPPING:Top with whipped cream caramel and pecans and swirl with a knife.
- Slice and serve.
