Beer Batter Fillets Recipe

  1. Prepare batter by sifting 3/4 c. flour, 1/4 tsp.
  2. salt, dash of pepper and the dill salt.
  3. Blend in beer, keeping the batter smooth.
  4. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
  5. Cut fillets into 1 1/2 inch strips.
  6. Add in a dash of salt and pepper to lemon juice.
  7. Add in fillets to lemon juice mix and chill for 1/2 hour.
  8. Drain fillets and roll in remaining flour and dip into well-stirred, chilled batter.
  9. Deep fry immediately in warm oil (360 degrees) for about 2 to 3 min.
  10. Drain on paper towels.
