Provolone Stuffed Fried Zucchini

  1. Once zucchini is sliced lengthwise, wrap it around a chunk of provolone and skewer it on the bamboo.
  2. Continue with the others, until each skewer has 4 pieces on each.
  3. Make sure the frying oil is hot.
  4. Dip the skewer into the batter, then place in the oil.
  5. Fry for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. To serve, lay a skewer on top of 1/2 cup of marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
