Cherry Truffle Recipe
- 1 angel food cake
- 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 3 ounce. raspberry or possibly cherry Jello
- 1 lg. can crushed pineapple, not liquid removed
- 3 bananas
- 1 lg. Cold Whip
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1 c. minced pecans
- 3/4 c. sugar
- Combine pineapple, sugar, cornstarch and heat till thickened.
- Add in Jello (no water).
- Cold.
- Add in bananas, pecans, and pie filling.
- Prepare pudding following directions.
- Add in almond flavoring.
- In very large bowl layer: cake (in torn pcs) pudding, cherry mix and Cold Whip.
- Repeat, ending with Cold Whip.
