Chili Relleno Bake
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 cup Onion, Finely Diced
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 2 cans Whole Green Chilies (4 Oz)
- 2 cups 4 Blend Mexican Cheese, Grated
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1/4 cups Flour
- 1- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 3 dashes Hot Sauce
- Brown meat in skillet with onion and garlic.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Spray an 8x11 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Line the bottom of the dish with 1 can of green chilies (cut a slit in each chili to open it up and lay it in the dish flat).
- Top chiles with 1 1/2 cups cheese.
- Add browned meat on top of the cheese.
- Top with the other can of green chiles.
- Beat egg and flour until smooth.
- Mix in milk and seasonings.
- Pour over casserole.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350.
- Top with remaining cheese and let sit for 5 minutes.
